Performing a Whole Home Power Cycle

Step 1: Switch OFF Powerwall

  • A small switch can be found on the left side of the battery.
  • Lift up the flap and flick it into the OFF position.

Step 2: Switch OFF Battery AC Breaker

  • This switch will be found adjacent to your battery.

Step 3: Turn OFF DC Isolator

  • The Powerwall 3 has an integrated DC isolator.
  • This is a red switch that can be found on the right-hand side of your battery. Turn to the OFF position.
  • Once all switches off, wait at least 5 minutes before continuing. This will give the system time to reset.
Step 4: Restart the System in Reverse Order
  • Turn on the DC Isolator. 
  • Turn on the Battery AC Breaker. 
  • Turn on the Powerwall side switch.
